Reese's style Granola Bars
These granola bars are Great as a snack, even kids will love them!
Ingredients
- 1 cup gluten-free oats
- 1/2 cup of crushed pecans
- 1/4 cup of chopped peanuts
- 1/4 cup of grated coconut
- 1/4 cup of peanut butter
- 2 tablespoon of Walden Farm Sugar Free Syrup
Icing:
- 1/2 scoop of Believe Transparent Isolate unflavored Protein
- 1 tablespoon of melted Nutiva Organic Coconut oil with butter flavor
- 1/2 cup of 70% dark chocolate
STEPS
- Preheat oven to 275°F. Butter a square baking pan with Pam or coconut oil
- In a bowl, combine dry ingredients, oats, pecans, coconut, peanuts, then add wet ingredients, peanut butter, syrup, coconut oil, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the mixture in the bottom of a square pan and press down.
- In a bowl, melt the chocolate with a little coconut oil in the microwave, then mix the melted chocolate with the protein.
- Add the chocolate mixture to the granola mixture
- Place in the oven for 22 minutes. Wait until the mixture is cold before cutting.
