Birthday Cake extra Protein
Celebrating someone? Your guests will be delighted with this healthy, high-protein vanilla birthday cake.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup of gluten free flour
- 1 scoop of Osmo Pharma Whey Recharge protein (Vanilla)
- 1⁄2 cup almond milk or cow's milk
- 1⁄4 cup Nutiva Melted Coconut Oil - unflavored
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons Swerve Granular
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Icing :
- 1/3 cup light cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons Icing Sugar Swerve
- 2 tablespoons 0% plain Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon
STEPS
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter two medium ramekins or brie pans with coconut oil or pam;
- In a bowl, combine flour, protein, Swerve and baking powder;
- In another bowl, combine almond milk, coconut oil, egg and vanilla;
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix;
- Spread batter in both pans;
- Bake for 18-20 minutes;
- Let cool for 15 minutes before removing from pan;
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients for creaming, then set aside;
- Assemble: take one of the two cakes, then cut the top of the cake horizontally so that it is flat;
- Put a little icing on the cake, then put the second cake on top of the first;
- Add creaming and decorate to taste;
